Wildlands Rescue Fund is a fundraising campaign to purchase critical lands for strict conservation in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve.  You can donate to Viva Sierra Gorda , a project of Earth Island Institute, and the funds will be dedicated to the purchase of  3000 hectares (7,423 acres) that are currently for sale.  By protecting biodiversity, you can guarantee vital environmental services including the storage of carbon provided by healthy ecosystems, and save this natural heritage for future generations.

The red areas are  for sale,  to guard the wildlands.
