16) Gathering of recyclable material

The Grupo Ecológico has promoted the sorting of recyclable material since the beginning of its environmental education program in 1989. Presently, recyclable waste management is being implemented in 92 communities, from which 120 tons of glass, cardboard and plastic are recovered and sent to recycling plants annually.
